A couple things I always have on long trips Bill:
Spark plug socket and spare plug Small spool of 16/18 ga. wire Side-cutters. Also, for those of us that carry the Sav-U-Ride and have the chrome clutch pull cover on the primary, make sure you have the small allen to remove it. I believe it's a 2 or 3mm but I don't remember off the top of my head. I learned about that one the hard way... |

Sub a flashlight for a headlamp/light instead....that way you can still have 2 hands and light where you need it.

That looks pretty complete for tools. Other things I might add if I find the right size (functional but not too bulky) is a gas siphon hose with either a little hand crank pump or a "shaker" one-way valve, and maybe a small set of jumper cables. You could always push a bike to try to get it started but with modern ignitions I suspect the ignition refuses to fire if the battery is low. At least mine was acting that way at the end of last season.

I really like this idea, plus I'd add a small flask of burbon so I have something to do while I watch Sparly fix my clutch cable - I don't think I could get the tools away from him...
