Anyone know their ABC's?

I know there's a Grand Rounds ride tomorrow. Meanwhile a friend and I will be pounding the ABC roads tomorrow Sat Oct 19 and looking at leaves that are hopefully still on the trees, not on the roads. If anyone wants to take part, kickstands up at 9:30am at Kwik Trip in Lakeville by Leo's South.

I learned a few new nice roads in the Nelson area. There are more than just ABC roads, also "named" roads like Deer Creek Road, Mike Varenick Road, Spring Creek Road are great roads smaller and curvier than most ABC roads; these loop around and end up back on Hwy 35 but just down 35 you can pick up the next one. Earlier this summer we tried some other "named" roads in that area that start out as gravel and turn into paved. But we also ended up one one that stayed gravel for 8 miles, not what we had in mind.

Huh - you must've had Sparky Bill's spirit with you! Did a rain cloud hit you too?
