The Alamo Drafthouse is coming to Woodbury soon. It's a dine in movie theater. They will show the latest but also the classics. Looks like it could be fun.

Alamo has a great reputation. They have a strict no cellphone policy, and will kick people out for talking or texting on their phone during a movie.

I think I saw on Facebook the plan is end of July.

In celebration of the opening of the Alamo Drafthouse the Lift Bridge Beer Company will have a free screening of National Lampoon's Vacation June 22 at 6:30 at Lift Bridge. The Drafthouse will buy the first 100 people a beer.

That's all the Lift Bridge Facebook says. It does say grab food and beer. I assume Drafthouse will have something there or a food truck. It definitely says at Lift Bridge.

Also, the Drafthouse will be at 9060 Hudson Road. That shopping area just off Radio Drive with Trader Joes.

I think opening is July 27th. From the 22nd to 26th they have discounted staff training showings for a soft opening.
