Engine mechanic
My 2012 CCT backfired on starting and now the front cylinder has a loud knocking. Need a mechanic to open her up and fix. Who would you trust to open your bikes engine? Prefer someone in Mpls metro area. Might consider cams since the engine will be open. Les

I'm not a mechanic, but have a 2011 Cross Country and had the same thing. Backfired thru the intake and had a ruff running, loud knocking engine. Happened twice. Each time it was a vacuum line under the fuel tank on the fuel injection intake that popped off. Ran ruff and knocked and I also thought I had a cyl problem. The second time they put a zip tie tight on the hose fitting and its held so far. Not sure if that's it, but worth a try...
