fork seals
Anyone know a good place to get fork seals done?

Brad Rosenow at Mafia Customs did mine on the Vision and it has never ridden better.
I don't know if the bike you are referencing has cartridges within the tubes, but some places don't remove them, and fully drain them as well - as it takes more time. Brad did do this on mine, and also replaced tube bushings that were worn. It was remarkable and the Big Blue Angel has never felt more planted.

I looked at the parts diagrams for the Octane vs. the Scout for the forks and just about all of the parts are the same number.
Given that, I would imagine the same process is used so you could probably take it to Motoprimo. I have worked with Kurt in the service dpt. there for the last year and he is a good guy and hasn't done me wrong at this point. Plus, it's literally in your backyard!!! |

paul i use rocket shop but he moved to dalbo home of the dusty egale
has done forks on both my visions also uses generic metric seals witch are cheaper price wise ,i pull the forks an bring them in most shops should be able to service forks empire over in lorreto might be an option also |

ps for vision owners be sure to pull your triple trees an inspect
an relube lower steering head bearing they are a fail point i do mine every other year |

Vision owners - also note there are 2 different sizes of forks on the 2009, and 2010 models. You have to look at your forks to see if there is a small "M" on them.
Victory did a running change of manufacturers those model years. I have the Marzocchi forks which have the "M".
