Riding Season's Open - 2014
I officially declare: 2014 Riding Season in the Twin Cities

The roads are surprisingly good considering the Winter we have had. Considering we still have 2-feet of snow on the ground, the sun feels INCREDIBLY GOOD!

After my first ride today, I dropped off the Gerbings and helmet and did another 20 miles. I'm very glad I did.

Thanks, Happy Dan, for leaving Minnesota. Mother Nature can finally be nice to us now.

I am thinking about registering my Yamaha and getting that working if I have time this week. Right now I would not want to take my Vic on the streets. Lots of salt. BUT the Yamaha, I want to turn that into a rat bike so a little salt will help the cause

Well Done Rick!!!

I saw three sport bikers on 494 yesterday afternoon and a guy on a cruiser about 10 minutes later heading north on Cedar.

Still a little early for me, but as the Aussie's say - "Good On Ya, Mate!"

I was thinking I might get out this morning since the roads looked pretty good on the way to work last night. I came home to 2 feet of snow in front of the garage door where it slid off the roof.

Not willing to ride to and from work in the melt slop, but I fully plan to get out this weekend. I have Thursday & Friday off.

Ride yesterday! WOO HOO
Got home and found the road to the main line was all clear,, grabbed my stuff and rode up to Onamia and back! SURE great to get out,,, crazy thing was its 25 degrees warmer than when I got back from Ark in October! 1st 80 miles of the year Life IS good!

Watch for them potholes! The city streets are in worse shape then the country roads.

A motorcyclist died Tuesday from injuries sustained after hitting a pothole on I-394 and being ejected from the motorcycle around 10 p.m.
