4th Annual Grand Rounds Ride 10-19-08 Sunday
The plan is to do the Grand Round of the Minneapolis Parkway System again. Since we ARE the Twin Cities Victory Riders, we take a group ride along the parkways starting at the NW corner of the Victory Memorial Parkway. Click on MapQuest and get a map. The red star is the place we will be meeting.
Here is the area I will set up a parking area to gather. Ride to start from there at 12 noon. Even though this ride will never leave Minneapolis you will not know it most of the time. This will be a good ride if you have been nervous about riding with a group as the pace will be slow, but the scenery is fine. A ride to see and be seen. Read these three threads to know what the response was on this ride. 2005 Grand Round Thread 2006 Grand Round Thread 2007 Grand Round Thread Here are pictures of last 3 years 2007 Grand Round Pictures 2006 Grand Round Pictures 2005 Grand Round Pictures

If the weather is dry, E and I will be there.
I also have never been able to make this run, so this looks like the year! |

My best guess is 3-4 hours depending on how long we stop along the way. Leaving the start point sometime after 12PM would get us back there around 4PM.

This is truly one of the best inner city rides you guys can do. Slow and show. Everybody likes to see the Victories going through the parkways.

Was planning reshingling the house this weekend but thanks to State Farm and US Bank my plans changed. So if the weather holds I'll try and talk the better half into attending this ride with me.
