Wheels To Meals If you know a good place to ride to for a good meal (a day ride only), start a new thread with the name of the place. In the first post tell us where the place is and what you liked. A picture of the menu would be a nice addition or web site.

Norske Nook - Osseo, WI

In Osseo, WI. A block off Hwy 10 west of I94. Great bakery. Excellent pies.

When I go visit my parents in central WI on my bike I usually take Hwy 12 (I94 alternate) to Eau Claire. Then take Hwy 53 to Osseo and stop there for supper. On I94 or Hwy 10 it should take about 2 hours to get there from St. Paul.

There's one in Hayward, WI and in the Northwoods Brewpub in Eau Claire. Took a date to that place in Eau Claire. Not bad. But the original location is the best.

Ok... We went to the Norske Nook earlier this summer after we had heard great things about the pie. There was a line out the door! we waited... got our pie. Several of us, lots of different kinds of pie. we kind of passed them around. We all agreed...it was ok. Did not live up to it's billing. We were all pretty disappointed.

Want some good pie... Head to Stockholm Pie company in Stockholm, WI. GOOD STUFF!

I'm with Lee on the pie review. My old company used to get pies from there as a charity thing for United Way. My basic review was... "meh" Wasn't any better or worse than Bakers Square in my opinion.
