Wheels To Meals If you know a good place to ride to for a good meal (a day ride only), start a new thread with the name of the place. In the first post tell us where the place is and what you liked. A picture of the menu would be a nice addition or web site.

Looks like a cool book. I'm going to have to pick up a copy to inspire me to get out and ride more.

It would be nice to have a GPS app that would lead you right to the destinations in the book. Maybe that can be their next step.

Thumbs up

Started reading the book a lot of good rides. Some are over nighters and some are day trips. Some of them I have done but a lot I have not. They even have the grand rounds ride in it. Rides from NW,NE,SW,SE and central MN. I suggest picking one up at northway sports only $10.00.

Welcome aboard Cynthia and best of luck with your book, hope you get a chance to meet some of the other gals here, there are some serious women riders with impressive credentials you'll enjoy meeting. You need to seek out Heidi "Flicker" here, you'd enjoy the conversation.

And then there's us knucklehead guys as well

Larry, are carrying another mouse in your pocket? Do we need to do an intervention?

Y'know Kyle, funny you should ask. I was at Thunder Valley Monday night and a young lady there thought the same thing, but unlike you she conducted a hands-on check, it even startled Ancient Pelican Al sitting next to me. Sorry buddy but she's all the intervention I need

You guys are funny. I was talking with Faith at Northway yesterday and placed a re-order for her. The book is moving faster than I dared to hope.

I'm afraid most riders will find me not too interesting, since I don't drive, just ride pillion. Trying to get up the nerve to drive a bike myself, but they're all so damn big, and I'm short. My feet don't touch the ground and the handle bars are 'way out there. I was talking with an instructor from the Motorcycle Safety Council who's even tinier than me. She wants a Victory very badly, but even with modifications, it doesn't fit. We'll have to lobby Victory for a bike for petite persons.

Anyway, if you want a book, and Northway is out, contact me.
