Leaves are slick, I went down...

... on my 250cc scooter. On the way home from work, stopped to grab the mail which is way across the culdesac from the house. Did not pay attention that I was stopped on a pile of dry leaves. Mail in hand, grabbed a handful of throttle. Rear tire slid right then grabbed pavement, front tire still pointing straight ahead. Don't know the whole story after that, but I tried to steer out of it, lefty, righty, ying yang boom. Bike is laying on top of my foot (familiar story). Broken and scratched plastic, broken turn signal. Tweaked one foot and one wrist but for the most part I'm fine. Sorry I don't have video for you.

Ouch. Good reminder and glad that it sounds like you didn't get hurt bad!
