Here we go again???

Maybe they can see if the Hanlon's want to try this again, but without stiffing the State of MN and the city of Belle Plaine for a ton of money... |

It will be awesome. The new Super X will incorporate Buell Racing and the bikes will look just like a Cross Country. It will be a trifecta of failed dreams...

And if Buell were to use the Kings Mountain Indian PP105 as the engine platform, it would set the world on fire!!!

You might be able to revive the brand on a new line of hats and apparel Show the heritage through old-timey pictures on faded T-shirts. And you'd probably make more money than actually building and selling the motorcycles.
If anyone wants to revive a dead motorcycle brand, it would be cool to see a new Norton or Vincent.

I'd love to see the Vincent line resurrected, but I think that until Norton can make a real go of it, that Vincent should continue to lie dormant.

It would be cool to see that in a wider distribution, like Triumph is today.

The other British bike I would love to see made is the Ariel FourSquare. Still one of the best looking bikes of that era.
They are making slingshot kind of things and one bike under the Ariel name, but they are using a Honda engine at this point. |

The Ariel Atom is a pretty serious sports car. But it uses the proper four wheels that a car should.
The Ariel Ace looks like a heck of a bike. http://www.arielmotor.co.uk/

35,999 for a used Norton.
That almost makes a Motus look affordable.

This is the closest used Norton for sale to the Twin Cities that I found on a quick search. It's in Illinois and is $17k for a 2015.
https://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/...1-SF-122687730 Vintage Nortons are going for between $5k - $27k - not bad for a bike that probably cost $750 USD originally. All we gotta do is keep our Victories running for 40 years and keep the mileage low. Mileage low??? Nevermind. #tillthewheelsfalloff

The original price on my '69 Scrambler was $700. I sold it last week for $2100. It wasn't anywhere near pristine either.
