Ride Saturday, 3/2/19

Okay, I am just shitting everyone. Of course we can't ride...

I'm just seeing if anyone is paying attention and I am bored on an airplane.

Post up if you want to go in this mythical ride with me. Leave 8AM Sat and we will hit everyone's favorite roads. Here are mine in no particular order...

1) Hwy. 36 Fortuna to Redding California
2) Hwy. 90 from Noel to Washburn, MO
3) Hwy. 2 from Carcross, YT to Skagway AK
4) Devils Triangle outside Knoxville,TN
5) Million Dollar Skyway, Durango to Oure, CO
6) Lolo Pass from Missoula, MT to Lewiston, ID
7) AK Hwy. 1/BC Hwy 97 from Watson Lake, YT to Toad River BC
8) UT Hwy's 95, 24, & 12 from Blanding, to Hanksville, to Hatch in Utah
9) Hwy 14 from Ranchester to Cody, WY
10)Hwy 40 from Hot Sulphur Springs to Empire, CO

Where are we going???

well, if we are using the magical motorcycle transport to skip the slab between the good roads I'd like to add these to the route

1) Hwy 28 aka Moonshiners from Walhalla SC to Deals Gap, NC
2) since we're now in Deals gap and don't need to use the magical transport might as well run US 129, the Dragon since we are there
3) US 421 "The Snake" Mountain City, TN to Bristol TN
4) Beartooth Pass Red Lodge, MT to Tower Junction, WY
5) Nebo Loop, outside of Salt Lake City UT
6) And for a little "local" flavor, H58 from Munising MI to Grand Marais, MI
7) and whatever f'n road Donkey had us on in the mountains before Oure I think where I thought I might die. Beautiful road, no guard rails and narrow. not Million dollar, on the other side... man my memory sucks!

Sorry I missed this post but I just rode all of those roads yesterday and I can report they are all in great condition. I also saw Bigfoot and gave him a ride into town, he was out of pork and beans.

I was busy working when you left, so I swung down to KC for BBQ when time freed up.

Did part of that a few years ago. Then cut down and through some loops to Beaver, MO...then 'Eukie Springs to Hot Springs for McClard's BBQ. (Bill Clinton's favorite) It was ok, too Carolina for me.
