Randy and I are planning on partying at the Chili Feed this year. We don't have a lot of experience camping, so we'd like some nice people to help us out, okay? (On the other hand, I do have some experience with partying, so no help is needed...)

Connie and Randy have reservations for the first ThumpTent. Do you want 2 sleeping bags, too?

BTW - Connie - K.O. loves to lend out chairs at the Chili Feed. He'll probably have a new one he will lend you.

Thumper, I think you misunderstood. For the first time in my life I attempted a little sarcasm and it flew right over your head... We have a tent and sleeping bags, but thanks for the offer! (I think my statement was more in reference to inexperience with Chili Feed camping.)

Bill, that's not what he calls the tent... that's what he DOES to the tent. ThumpTent! Umm.. besides, there was a smokin' hot blonde in that tent. If the other giant there couldn't resist her, then how could JBG?

Connie - I see your growing as a person again. Finally our little lady has developed sarcasm, subtle, but started. sniff... sniff... I'm so proud of you!

Seriously, drop off your tent at the Pole Raising and I'll set you up with a ring-side view for the Chili Feed!

Johnny boy, you're in luck. Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery (my favorite hangout) has Grain Belt Premium as one of their guest beers (in bottles) just in case the BIG BEERS frighten you.

Stacy and I were talking about it this morning and if we can find a sitter, we are going to stay both friday and saturday nights. I've always wanted to see Lamont Cranston. I'm also thinking I should take sunday night off work to recover.

A gal at work here has a custom set. Hers are "Noise Canceling"

When there is no noise, you can hear plain as day, but as the decibels rise, the protection increases.

I think they were about 75 bucks. I have been interested - just never pulled the trigger...

Damm John you had me going there. Under Chile Feed you start talking about a gal at your work having a custom set. Then the mind's eye picture of them being "noise canceling" was real interesting.

There is Sparky "Mind in the gutter as always" Bill being naughty again.

All of you may not know: I was ordained a Reverend this Monday. I did it online. I could now, marry/bury/baptize etc... (I am looking for a way to philanthize my money (on me) and not pay taxes! Wish me luck! And I will probably be making Sparky and Kyle call me by my new name "The Most Reverend John Ritter" (the one still living, but with a sore knee)

No, I was talking about ear plugs!

Damn! Sparky beat me to the post!! Gotta admire they way ol Sparkster thinks!

Umm.. ahh.. er...
I'm had hoped to host, and had talked to some of you about, holding a POLE RAISING and gear drop off this comming week. Unfortunately, I'll be out in NY on the new job AGAIN this coming week and won't be able to host.

... AND, it looks like I'll be working right up to the Chili Feed. So, I probably won't be able to get out there early to make the chili and secure the primo spots like before. Sigh. Sorry, gang.

HOWEVER, I'll be there Friday night, with a wristband on, some new beads for the adventure of giving away, and a LET'S PARTY attitude with a happy and healthy Mrs Thumper on Friday night!!!
