Merry Merry everyone. All I want for Christmas is an early spring or at least a few 50 degree plus days in January or February.
See you all next year.

Merry Christmas all.

Joe - thanks for the tip on the Frogg Togg's. They look like they should do the trick. The folks at Mudspringers are pretty nice too!

Now to get a damn backrest figured out.

oh....on a side note - dug the 98 XC 600 out of the garage after 7 years -
smelled the gas - it smells good (gotta love seafoam)
put oil down the saprkplug holes
Wait 5 min
slowly move clutch back and forth - no hang ups or corosion!
Pull and pull
and pull
dump gas down sparkplug hole.
Pull
Bang!! It fires.
Repeat the dumping of gas one more time.
Pull.
Bang!! It fires.
And continues to Run! (with a little coaxing of the the throttle)
God Job Polaris!

Now - to go through, clean and sell.
PM me if interested.
