Rear Wheel Question

I'm having the rear tire repaired by a shop. Is it necessary to remove the pipes to take of the rear tire? I was told that additional time was required to take off the pipes from what was initially anticipated. Thanks

Which bike are you talking about?

Generally, any place could charge you up to 2 hours of labor to remove and replace the wheel from any bike and align the belt, but none of them need to have the pipes removed to take the rear wheel off if they know what they are doing.

I just saw this.
For future reference:
1) lift the bike
2) remove the suspension links
3) let the swing arm down, the axel will be below the exhaust, even the stock exhaust
4) remove the wheel. you don't even need to mess with the adjusters so your wheel alignment and belt tension will be good when you put everything back together.
