fs: Ventura Luggage - ideal for V92C, CC, maybe SC?

.

I bought these Ventura Luggage Bags for a sportbike, then discovered that they are an ideal fit for a V92C having OEM Victory medium sissy bar with luggage rack and passenger backrest pad. I've since sold my V92C. They are in perfect, near-new condition. Each bag has one large main compartment and one accessory compartment. Very well built, heavy cordura with waterproofing, stiffening panels built into one upright surface and the bottom surface. The outstanding thing about these bags is fast, easy on and off even with packed bags, very secure attachment, nice carry handles, and nice flexibility in accommodating different size loads. I don't know their total capacity, but its huge if both bags are used. The bags are differently sized, providing flexibility in how to pack. The pocket that slips over the sissybar/backrest is 13" deep.

Asking $85 including shipping in the USA.

To mount one bag, slip it over the sissybar/backrest and latch the two quick-release straps around the forward rung of the luggage rack (see top photo). Either bag works equally well resting on the luggage rack or the passenger pillion. The large bag on the passenger pillion makes a nice driver backrest if you stuff it full enough. To use both bags just zip the 2nd bag to the face of the first bag. Based on my experience, I think it should work without the luggage rack, but for heavy loads the luggage rack would be an advantage.

Large bag mounted, small bag on ground. The small bag will zip to the large one no problem, but some of its capacity would be consumed by the passenger backrest pad. The bags were not actually made to be used this way - it was just a chance discovery that they work great.

Greetings John!

I had not been working full-time for while, so I've actually sold all my toys. In the long run, after many years in industry its led to an opportunity to return to a university to pursue basic research again. I have a feeling that if the bags don't sell I'll still wind up using them again some day.

Thanks for the note!

Steve
