Great website. I took a tour of Wisconsin visiting roadside attractions. It included a giant badger statue at a rural strip joint. And the world's largest corkscrew.

I've used Roadside America and Atlas Obscura to plan stops on trips for a decade or so. It's a great way to break up monotonous road trips.
