Ride to Aerostitch 9/9/17

Hey All -

I am thinking about a run up to Aerostitch this Saturday to get some gloves. Since I have never had any, I'd like to go up and get fitted.

I will be leaving from the cities sometime early since they are only open until 2. Get up there early, maybe hit Russ Kendall's or run up the shore, then turn around and head back.

Post up if you're interested and I'll formalize routing, etc...

I'm busy, but I've hear that some of the trees are starting to turn up North already.

I have a couple pair and love them! Great idea to get sized, I wear an 8.5 unlined glove, and a size 9 insulated gauntlet.

Rode a bit around the U.P. today and some trees are just starting to turn. There was a lot of "popcorn" rain showers - about 375 miles worth of wet and cool. Saw no less than 10 rainbows, and even road THROUGH one - honestly! I was riding, it kept getting closer, and then I could almost touch it, then all of a sudden, it was gone....and I could see it in my mirror!
Luckily the Frogg Toggs kept me mostly dry and the heated vest/grips kept me warm!

I've never heard of that before... Sounds surreal. That would be incredible! And I'm chromatically challenged.

Ritter Riding Thru the Rainbow... Could I make a leprechaun joke?

Nope, just looking for some gloves. I am liking the idea of their elk skin gloves with for riding on days when it's not cold enough for heavy lined gloves, but it's too cool to have gloves without gauntlets.

And, I'm pretty sure they don't make their jackets and pants in 'Mericun sizes!

That does sound tempting. Looks like a nice day. Meet somewhere on the north side of the cities?

Am thinking I may meet you up for this ride. Will either meet you Sat. morning and ride up there, or may meet you at Aerostitch about noon.

I bought a pair of their Darien pants at a huge discount. I wore them through 500+ miles of rain when Moe and I went down to MO for the eclipse. LOVE them!

Go ahead... give me crap. I'll take it.

I have a wedding in St Cloud Saturday. Sounds like a great reason to ride to Duluth!

Thanks for the idea Kurt!

The west side Holiday station, I will try to be there. I was just going to ask which one to meet at.
