first ride

I would have been out earlier but the battery was dead. Got the new one in swapped out she fired right up and rides like a dream.

Found my belly pan was broken underneath, does anyone have a line where I might find another one. Don't mind the duct tape right now but it's kind of a bush fix for now

Belly pan is still available from Victory/Polaris. Also on EBay.

Is it this piece?

I'll take a pick later Greg. Its the piece right behind the cowling under the battery.

Rick, I don't know if different years had different belly pans but that is not the peice I am referring to or it at least doesn't match up to where mine attaches and it looks different

part 18 in the breakdown
$109 from Polaris seems a little steep for a piece of plastic.

Hey Chris -

Depending on how it's broken/cracked, you may be able to create a permanent fix. Bruce had the same issue with his and it was fixed with some epoxy and a couple of thin aluminum washers. the fix has lasted longer than the original part!

thanks Joe. I was thinking of doing that but where the bolt goes it was all cracked and brittle. it was almost like dry rot the way the plastic crumbled. There really isn't much if any area left where a washer could make contact. I'm going to take a closer look again. Its been like this for a while so I'm not overly concerned. Just one more thing that rattles on the Vision...
