Fall demo truck?

I am not seeing the fall demo truck coming through this area. Usually they have the spring truck and then the fall truck after the new models are announced.

I made it over with time for one test ride. Took the XC Tour. Felt a little under powered but I was really impressed at how well balanced it is. Just had to fight trying to ride it like my Vegas.

Unfortunately, like the spring demo truck, the rain kept me from trying the Gunner However, it gave me time to put these reflective stickers on my saddlebag hinges.

I made it up to Tousley's Friday and rode a Gunner and an XC Tour. I liked the Gunner, it was quick and fast but drags pegs surprisingly easily. Then rode an XC Tour which was nice but the low end was weak and power did not come on until the rpm's were up. My Kingpin would dust it easy, yes it is a lighter bike.

On Saturday I rode the gunner and a high ball. I concur about the dragging pegs, surprising low ground clearance. The judge didn't seem to have that problem when I rode one last year. Still a peppy little scoot. I liked the highball - seemed to have a bit more torque than the gunner. Good to see Gibby and Bear at the demo.
