There is only (1) restaurant at Hungry Jack and it gets very busy AKA SLOW, so, there will not be a formal dinner plan, however, we’ll all see each other at the restaurant. After dinner and drinks at the lounge, there will be a bonfire by the cabins.

As far as the way home people break into smaller groups and depending on their schedules and what they want to do or see.
Some will ride up to the top of the Gunflint and dine in the Trail's End café.
Some will have breakfast at the Trail Center
Some will head for Grand Marais or Duluth
Some will be to hungover to know what way is up and not leave Hungry Jack until the next day

This option is totally up to you!!

Fall Color Ride Plan B ☹

Due to mother nature NOT working with us I’m afraid we will more than likely have to implement Plan B.

Meet at Kwik Trip at 10am

Kwik Trip #429,
4868 208th St N
Forest Lake, MN 55025

Carpool to Duluth for lunch than drive up the shore. Because we will not be in a huge rush we can stop and checkout a few sites, restaurants, or bars before we get to Hungry Jack Lodge. Also, being we will be in vehicles we are going to avoid the Ely part of the ride.

The weather is currently 40-70% chance of rain in Duluth, Ely & Grand Marais with mid 50’s as a high. If there is a dramatic change in the weather, we will stick to Plan A.

A couple of us are going to ride tomorrow, despite the weather. We'll still meet the group at 10 and then head up to Duluth, Then we will plan the best bike route to the lodge from there.

If anyone still wants to ride with, post here or on the Facebook page.
