Vision Rear Brake Light Replacement Video?

Have a rear brake light out on the Vision.

Does anybody know of an online video tutorial of how to replace?
I searched the interwebs and can't find one.

Yes, I have the manual - but prefer step by step video.

Also, does anybody know if there are Heavy Duty/Heavy service/rough service bulbs (or led replacement) for these? -Am not looking for the full replacement LED lenses.

Or - and maybe even better; has anybody changed these bulbs, and wants to lend a hand and earn some free libations on me?

I don't remember if there is a video anywhere. It is more involved than it needs to be but not hard. the dumbest thing is removing your license plate bracket. The panels then pop off/out with those clips Polaris is so fond of using.

You can by the LL (long life) bulbs and they are supposed to last longer. It's a standard bulb you can get at any auto parts store

I'd be willing to help out sometime. I don't remember the exact process but have the owners and service manual...Reading Is Fun!

I have helped with that process a couple of times.

As Chris said, you basically have to remove the trunk and the license plate frame. Then the "M" or "W" (can't remember which way it goes) shaped panel just gets pulled out. Make sure the bags are open when you do this.

Bruce tried some LED bulbs on the back of his, and at the time there wasn't a bulb that had full dispersion so it actually gave off less light then the regular bulbs. I'm not sure it's worth it to try and track some down.

you don't have to remove the trunk but you do need to remove the license plate.

My coworker has a Chevy Malibu and has to remove the front bumper fascia to replace headlight bulbs so I guess we don't have it too bad.

Now that I think about it, Bruce has a lay down license plate. That is likely the reason his trunk has to come off.

Thanks for the help fella's, now just need to find some darn time to read and do it...

I had first model 300M - to change those headlights you too had unbolt and move the front fascia down.
But, even better was the battery change. - Start by taking off the front right tire..... (no kidding)

That's just part of what makes this a little Utopia!

My son's Civic, to change a headlight or front turn signal bulb, you had to remove the front bumper fascia, too. And taking either of the wheel's off made that job a whole lot easier.

On my Mercury Sable, you didn't even need a tool, 2 clips and twist a retainer collar and you were done. Honestly less than 30 seconds.

The Volvo has what looks like a tent stake that drops in from behind the headlight. pull that up and the whole assembly drops out the front. Easiest thing I have even seen.

Special THANK YOU to Lee (6 Shooter) for swinging by and helping. Not only did he do a great job of helping - he brought his old bulbs for me! (after switching to the nice full LED version) AND his own 4mm.

All done! Thanks again Lee!
