Wheels To Meals If you know a good place to ride to for a good meal (a day ride only), start a new thread with the name of the place. In the first post tell us where the place is and what you liked. A picture of the menu would be a nice addition or web site.

Golden Corral - Stevens Point Wisc.

Well this better be good as a couple old salts (Ritter and Moe) highly recommended it. Didn't have to go over 166 MPH to get here BUT we did have to go over 166 MILES to get here .

Really? Can we post White Castle, Burger King, Arbys and Mickey D's?

You drove 166 miles to eat at a Golden Corral?

Can you grab me a small spool of coarse pipe thread and 60 feet of water line since you're following old salt advice?

Larry I do not think a Golden Corral is anything like the places you named. Closer to a Old Country Buffet but much better. We had a blast. Schamby, myself, Craz1 and Viczen.

Besides there is a story behind the ride there. And the round trip was just under 500 miles.

The old salts are Moe and Ritter.

Ready for the rest of the story (the part that made a 250 mile ride to a Golden Corral worth it)

Great to see Carolyn back in the saddle and able to pile on the miles. This had to be a coming out party for her, at least in part

She put on nearly 500 miles yesterday. Hell of a way to break in the mended shoulder and me my hand.
