A beautifully stunning Red and Black Cross Country Tour spotted on I-94 traveling eastbound about 500 yards from the Rogers exit. The pilot had a 3/4 helmet on with some type of American symbol on it. Looked like and American Flag. I thought I also smelled Canada trailing behind the bike. Lol

Just my observations on 3 weeks of travel across the Western US and Canada.
  • Almost all of the Vics I saw were Cross Country derivitives. Roughly 35 XC, XCT, X1, Magnums and a couple XRs. Rode with an XC and Kingpin in the Black Hills and an XR into Canada.
  • I saw a few steel framed bikes. High balls were the most popular. A number of Vegases. A few King Pins, 2 Hammers and 1 Boardwalk.
  • NO Visions were spotted.
  • I saw about 15 Slingshots. Most had a roof attachment. One was driven by a nice looking younger lady.
  • I only saw about 15 Indians as well. Probably most were chieftains/Road Masters with a couple Vintages and Chiefs. One Scout.
  • Outside of the Black Hills, the largest concentration I saw was around Northern Washington/Kelowna/Calgary areas.

Wow, that is really surprising to me.... hmm, I wonder where they were all riding?

This surprised me as well. In the last year, I am typically seeing more (or at minimum, a similar number) of Indian's than Vic's on the road.

I was also surprised. Riding around the upper Midwest, I see many more assorted Victories, especially Visions. Also a lot of Indians. Although with me being so close to Polaris, I'm sure that many are employee bikes.

Yesterday, some weird guy on a Cross was honking and waving at me. I had to ignore him.

For the past few years I occaisionally see a guy on a blue Kingpin, sometimes with his wife on board, in west Bloomington. I've never been able to actually wave him down and find out who he is. Must live not all that far from me.

I've seen lots of Victory bikes in Arizona, HAs especially riding them, but very few if any in New Mexico.
