Hwy 210 on Friday Oct 20

Weather looks awesome for Friday, so going to run up to Duluth/Superior via Hwy 23 and hit the Newly Opened hwy 210 on the way. Have a lunch break in Duluth or Superior ( maybe Anchor Bar ) or there's a good rib place in west Duluth too, leave that open for discussion....

Meet at Key's Cafe in Forest Lake around 9 AM if you'd like some breakfast, or for a KSU for 10 AM.

Dang work getting in the way of everything fun!

OMC BBQ was very tasty in Duluth -no doubt.

But there is also these 2 places in Superior I am looking to try:

http://eddiesribs.net/ribs-steaks/1791834
(aware winning, but I see they are slathered with BBQ, which I would rather have on the side)

https://www.facebook.com/Izzys-BBQ-L...3112190235070/
(these look like a dry rub in one pic I saw, but there aren't many pics out there.

If you try - post up review please!

Perfect day for wind therapy - many thanks to all who could come along .

Hwy 210 was a gas along with the great fall colors to go with our Indian summer
Day.

Where and how was it?

We DID see the crime scene truck between 210 and Gary on 23 and talked about it at lunch. NOW we know what it was there for. Thanks.

Would have liked to hit Eddies but they are a supper club and don't open til 4. I've dined there previously ( maybe 25 years ago) and its old school cool. The food there is among the best in the twin ports - I would highly recommend if one were to spend an evening or weekend in Duluth/Superior.

We opted for the Choo Choo bar in Allouez - good burgers and bloodies and right off Hwy 2/53 so was conveniently located for a dash south towards Minong.
