How my Daughter decided to get her endorsement
So...
My wife had to work during the Rides For Wishes run this past weekend. So I asked my 29 yr old daughter to go. Starting Monday she started thinking about maybe getting her endorsement. So she got the manual. By Saturday, she was all read up on the manual. As we're walking around Fury Motorcycle where the run started, she said, "If I do this, I want a pink bike, pink leather, and I want to put a pink ribbon on the tank to pay homage to Grandma Nelson. But I can only afford about $2000." I replied, "I think a Boulevard S40 would be a great start for you." She wanted to see one, but all we had were pictures on our phones.
90 minutes later, we pull into the 1st stop on the run. As we take off our helmets, into the parking lot comes a S40. So we go over to look at it and talk to the gal that owned it. As we approach, we see it's a dark pink! Just like Mindy wanted! Then we find out it's for sale....for $2000!!!
My daughter above crapped herself!!! She yells, "SEE DAD??? GOD WANTS ME TO RIDE MY OWN BIKE!!!!!!"
Needless to say, she got her permit on Tuesday and is signing up for riding classes when she gets paid next. She's got the gal holding onto the bike until the end of June.
By this time next year, I'm going to try and get her on a Victory.
