Ok. Who's going to the POTP? Do we have a spoke going from up North?

Pat, I'm not positive but I thought Randy may be starting out in International Falls and carrying the spoke. Sure wish I could go, especially after meeting some of the folks in SL!

Pat, I am making plans to go, but haven't yet worked out the details. Like Don and Linda, I'll probably need to "compress a little time" and take the freeway.

Mike, what day are you going, and where are you staying? I'm leaving Thursday am, and heading down 35W.

Pat, I haven't firmed up any plans yet. 35 was the route I am also strongly considering. Don't know what day I am leaving yet, haven't really looked at time of travel and such yet. Thought maybe I would camp at Spike and Trishes. Do want to be there in time to see about getting a free Dyno tune!!!!!!!

Let me look at distances, times, and money and get back to ya.

Pat and Mike how long do you plan to stay. Are you riding down in one stretch how far is it. I am getting stronger and by then maybe that will be OK. I did put my windshield back on and life is a little easier.

I'm going - even if I have to carry BigFoot on **MY** back!!

I have not made plans yet, but if there are no cheap rooms or a room to split with someone, I will be sleeping under the stars...

I will be leaving from Minneapolis - where should I meet up with the rest of Spoke-8 ???

I will probably be heading up to Dennis Kirk this Saturday (taking my car cuz BigFoot's still in pieces).. Anyone wanna ride up there with me?

If I go it will be sometime on Friday. I am starting a new job and I will be on first shift for a while. If I am on first then, I would leave at about 2:00 PM. If I am on third shift, I will probably leave sometime in the morning. I will have to leave to come back either late sat or early sun. It is less than 500 miles so a straight shot through will be no problem.

I am leaving early Thursday morning, and riding straight through. I have a room, just can't remember where. I suppose I should try and figure that out before I go, huh?
I'll be coming home Saturday morning, again, riding straight through.

I met up with Kozy last weekend as he was passing thru from So. Dak. to the UP. We met in Garrison, had lunch and started out just as the rain hit. I took him thru the back woods to Moose Lake and split before we reached Duluth.

At lunch he mentioned a few Michigan riders were looking at riding from KC. up the north shore into Canada towards Sault Ste. Marie. Their thoughts were to make a beeline for Duluth on Sunday and take a leisurely pace beyond Duluth. I mentioned riding southeast Mn. They are open to suggestions. Kozy said they would appreciate it if any local riders could show off a few of their favorite roads.

Anyone interested in running with? Do I really want to go back to work on Monday after a weekend of V2V3? A ride along the north shore would be a great way to wind down.:)

Jim,

Go here and click on V2V Relay.

http://www.shamrockweb.com/vmc/

It's a Victory owners "relay" ride from San Fransisco to NY on the old "Victory Highway" from the 1920's. This year we're "meeting in the middle" at Kansas City for a "party on the plains" June 27th and 28th!

Hey Randy, (quickvic) what time do you think you'll be leaving De Moines to head to KC on Thursday??

quickvictory

If we take interstate we wouldn't have to leave till past noon. (earlier of course if riding back roads)

I'll be leaving by 6:00 am at the latest, possibly even earlier. Should we just meet at your hotel? Or maybe a resturant or something. I probably won't eat before I leave, so knowing me, I'll be a bit hungry.

You'll probably have to wake me up when you roll into Des Moines. I hope to be in Des Moines next Monday...I'll locate the motel and a place to eat.

Hey,

I'm looking for volunteers! I made a flyer for the V2V ride to post at dealers. Was wondering if I could get a few volunteers to print it out and drop off at their local dealer. Don't know how to attach a document here so you'll have to e-mail me for the file. Also let me know the dealer name/location you are posting at.

quickvic@ndinter.net

thanks,
Randy

I'll plan on giving you a call when I roll into De Moines.

Super 8, 515/278-8858, right? Oh, I guess I'll need your room number, or your last name.

I may be riding down with a friend. Hopefully, I'll still get going early.

Hey,

My computer crashed a couple weeks ago (am on a friend's now) so anyone trying to contact me to hook up for any part of the ride will have to do so by cell phone! 701-371-0830

thanks,
