I am going to go for a ride today, probably mid day.
Anyone else want to meet up somewhere and ride?

I am ready to ride in the area you last rode when I was out in Vermont. Let me know where I will keep checking.

That was Whitewater St Park and the Lk Pepin loop. It took 7 hours, too long for me today. Is the south side better for you? I was considering East and North a little, by that I mean over to Stillwater and from there there is a nice 70 mile loop up 35 to 8, East 7 miles to 65, South to 64, West 1/2 mile to A, then SW and into Hudson from the back side. WI Hwy 65 between US 8 and WI 64 doesn't look like much on the map, but is wondertfully hilly and twisty. It is a supurb 20 mile strech.
I can take this on another day if you want to stay on the South side though.

Well Rufus got there at 2:45. Then we went for a putt. If you have ever had Rufus lead, it is slow. Heck, I had to pull the clutch in on corners and rev the engine just to cut the carbon build up. :BigLaugh:

He found some cool roads. Found 3 Co. roads ole Rufus likes sooooo much I got dizzy, as he made the 10 mile loops repeatedly. To say Rufus likes the high speed sweepers would be down playing it. I did not follow him around the cars on the double lines but there he was waiting for me on the next turn off.

Good ride for starting out so late, I put on 190 miles and I am sure Rufus had a lot more.

Cty roads # 2, 3, & 5 between MN 58 and Lk Pepin. Great roads. I liked them much better than the roads in the Whitewater St Park area, and they are closer. It was a real nice day.
