I learned that I do NOT like riding in the rain at NIGHT!!! Visablity and loss of traction are the main reason. I will now avoid it at all costs.

This post has nothing to do with the next.

After I bought the Goldwing I was asked a question (many times) that I had no idea how to answer.

I can now tell you I have since learned that I CAN pick the pig up alone if I tip over. I also learned that in a few years I think I will be too old to do it again.

I learned never to use the word "masticate" (as in chewing). It sounds too much like something else!

:gunrev: sparky, please refer to www.mmra.com,got to mrf and look at the procedure they use to right a "pig".might be different than your method and if your back is anything like mine you will see the wisdom in their lift method.Last year in Colorado i was riding around with 2 ultra classics and they both dumped over,my question to them was how they trained those hogs to bow to my Victory???as for learnig experience ,i've learned to never hit a drunk in the stomach,it's hard to fight with puke in your eyes :BigLaugh:

I went there but could not find anything. Can you point me closer. I am up to learning new tricks. Did not hurt my back though, just strained my legs. That is good news.

I chewed that over and know that I would NEVER use that word cause I had never heard of it but can see how it could be a problem.

Thanks, found it. Here it is for those that want to see (http://www.motorcyclesafety.org/pages/tips_pages/tips_lift.html). I did it on an incline and was facing the bike not backwards and did alone as no one stepped up to help. I should have stood there longer but the adrenaline sets in. Or is that embarrassment. I DID use my legs not my back, work video's stepped in there.

Great site, going back after this post to check out other tips.
