See you guys and gals in two weeks. I'm going to CO and UT to test out my new dual-sport on jeep trails. My server is usually stable, but if there's a power outage while I'm gone the TCVR may be unreachable until I return. One advantage of moving to the new host will be a team of professional admins to prevent those kinds of things.

Check out the new steering damper at the bottom of my XR Detail Photos page. It makes this dirt bike feel like a BMW on the freeway!

I've already moved my XR site to TigerTech, the same outfit that will be hosting the new TCVR site after our move.

Well, I'm back already. I'd have called this the vacation from hell, if it weren't for 246 great miles I rode on the gravel backroads of Eastern Kansas.

I injured my ribs on the night before my departure, but I left anyway thinking I'd heal enough before reaching Colorado. I stopped for a ride in Kansas on the way out and it seemed OK, but I discovered otherwise when I reached Leadville, CO. The trip ended in PAIN and FLYING SNOT. See my story writeup to find out what I mean by that.

To add insult to injury, a really strong wind in Eastern Colorado caught my truck door, and now it won't close right unless I slam it!

See ya later,
Steve
