Hello Rain Good-Bye SALT 4-10-2002!!! The riding season is upon us. Now if we can get the rain and cold to stop. I remember last year's spring far too well.

chuckle, chuckle, not at you sparky, but at myself. Last year in the spring Sid and Lee joined me for a ride out here in Buffalo, part way thru the ride they observed that i didn't have my current taps on. I ended up paying for them again as I never did find them!!! So wouldn't ya know it, on 4/6 sid and Lee again made the observation that i didn't have current tabs on:lol: Oh well what can i say:gun: ;)

I put mine on yesterday. After my ride. I had forgot too, JoAnne had to remind me.
What an afternoon! And I just got home from work, and have stuff to do around here now, so I can't take advantage of this weather. (still 67 out here)

Pat,
You lucked out. Just south of the cities today, it was in the 70s. Up here, just north of you, we didn't break 60. It's not often that you see that "line" in such a distinct way, but today we sure did.
As for tabs, I do that as soon as they come. I decided to go out this year and buy new screws and nuts (stainless metric) because I hate the hex screws that come standard with the Vic. I've got the license plate frame (I do like it), so I need to take off the whole thing to put the tabs on. Maybe that's not true for everyone, but I do have the custom plate, too.
I wish MN was like WI in terms of cycle plates...WI is $20 every 2 years instead of $10 every year...just one less thing to do.
