We take delivery of our Mini Cooper this week ( saw it last night and had a bonding experience....just have to wait for prep).
So...our son is taking command of our Ford Probe and we have his car up for sale.
1993 Ford Escort LX, 4 door, white w/blue interior, aftermarket 15 inch aluminum rims, great tires, tinted windows.
I pulled the original motor and replaced it with a 54,000 mile engine a couple of years ago. It runs great and my son has been religious about oil changes.
I also replaced the alternator, belt, rear shocks and recently installed new plug wires and plugs.
3 months ago the transmission was pulled and rebuilt by Aamco in Blaine. Also replaced were the front drive axles/cv joints. The cost was over $2000.
I have the slips and my son's depleted checkbook to prove that.
It's a nice little car but has a few small dimples in the body.
The car was from California and the body has no rust.
We're offering it for sale at $1500. If anyone needs a car for their teen, or a good commuter...this is it.
