For my Garmin 1450 series GPS and absolutely love it. It puts the GPS close, where I can read it very easily. Hasn't slid or moved yet.
The 1450 is not a weatherproof GPS (like the motorcycle type) so I need to remove it during rain. But it is a 5" screen and is very easy to read. Hope it will be able to take the vibration of the bike - we'll see over time. So far, ~ 1500 miles and all is well.
I very much like it!

Nice setup, used on the V92 and Hammer. Cool part is, I bought base handlebar mounts that fit the bike, ATV and sled then I move the GPS and holder from one to another.

They do make a waterproof system that works well, it can be found at http://www.mountguys.com/product_p/br-waterbike-garminnuvi1200.htm
