Hil and I MIGHT be heading to Brainerd on Saturday to hopefully hook up with my uncle for a little putt around the area. Thought it would be kind of cool if there were quite a few of us showing up. If this happens, anyone interested? Pete, he lives close to you...maybe we could pull up to your place and make some racket? I don't even remember most of the roads I used to ride up there, but am sure we could find some good ones.

I will be racing my vintage formula ford at BIR May 17 and 18.
It is a club meeting, but is open to spectators, free , no ticket required. Everyone who enters the track must sign the waiver (promising not to sue anyone regardless of circumstances).
I am helping out with the noon time touring sessions, and hope to organize a couple of track laps for motorcycles at "highway speeds" if any Victory's show up. I plan to have my Vic there.

Jeff...this sounds fun! What exactly do you mean by "highway speeds?":bounce: :bounce:

Steve, what time are you planning on leaving? We are getting company Saturday eve for supper, so of course there are certain domestic chores that need to be completed in preparation. I want to go for a ride either friday afternoon or part of saturday, maybe could join you for part of the ride. Jim

Jim, nothing's set for sure yet. Once we know, I'll post what time we'll be leaving and stuff.

Ok...golf clubs are sold, so we are definitely riding up on saturday:D . I'm thinking we'll leave here around 10:00 am and head up hwy 10 to 371. If it turns out others want to go, we'll arrange someplace to hook up. I don't recall how to get to Pete's, so I'm hoping he reads this:rolleyes: . I really don't want to be near his house again without stopping in to at least rev the Bub's a couple times:cool:.

I'd like to join you but I'll be in the cities for the weekend. At least that's what the plan was. I may have to hang around and go for a putt with you guys. Stop in anyway and let the neighbors know you were here. They would love to hear the Bub's. :)

Re: BIR
We usually have a 70 mph speed limit on the straights for touring on the track, with cornering at a brisk pace. BIR has 10 turns and is 3 miles around for 1 lap.

Friday morning...

Very seriously thinking about bringing the pickup back home and returning on the Vic today.

Going to check on the weather again and make a decision.

In other news, I landed a job yesterday with a utility locating company in Eagen. Got to make sure the urine test was satisfactory first...hell, I studied for it all week:crazy:

I'll be one busy guy once I start and I'll have a company truck to bring home each night...so that's why I want to get our truck home...I'm not paying for another parking spot in the underground garage! But I think I can squeak the Vic in front of one of the vehicles. Then we can go riding.

The MINI will be here next Monday or Tuesday. Getting excited!!

Might see you folks around the highways this weekend!

I'm afraid I won't be able to make this one. Sounds like a great day, have a safe and fun ride. Jim

I would love to go!!! But, I can't. We have spring clean-up day for Big Lake this Saturday and I have some crap to get rid of. I finally got my bike running good today too!

Fantasic on the job.

The video of Blaze doing his thing to the Chromed Red Fire Hydrants helped on that test, aye???

Thank goodness you chose a MINI, thus room for the Vic.

Yep, we plan on leaving about 10:00. Just finally got my lazy arse out of bed though, and the other half is still sleeping!
