Hey guys, hope you had a great ride today (hope nothing froze off). I saw a lot of eager motorcyclists on the road today, and also stopped by the Grand Re-opening of St. Paul Harley-Davidson. I bought a $10 raffle ticket for a Road King. If I win it, I'm keeping my Victory. I might keep the H-D, too.

Anyway, I was thinking today about a number of ways we could advertise the great TCVR site that has been provided for us. Here's what I was thinking...

1) We could print up some posters with the address and diplay them at the 4-5 area dealers. We could attach a bunch of "rip-off" slips of paper with the website listed on them.

2) We could print out small flyers that could be included with the "New/Used" bike package that is given to Victory Riders by every local dealer. We would need their cooperation to do it.

3) I think we emphasize that we are NOT an official club; our goal is to be a "virtual" meeting place where we can schedule rides, talk Victory (and other things), and post photos; spouses are welcome here (nice to see Sparky_Bill's "Flicker" with us); and of course, this is all FREE FREE FREE and will stay that way.

4) As Don and I have discussed (and maybe Sparky_Bill), we'll eventually look into T-Shirts (which won't be FREE FREE FREE), but we do need to address the logo issue eventually...I know Sparky_Bill has the logo as seen above, but I want to make sure we don't get sued by Polaris. If you read the most recent issue of the Polaris Escape, you'll see that the VRA is using the Victory logo [which is why I think they made the VMC make its own].

5) Speaking of shirts, I still want to work on the shirt design that Linda was telling me about, but I need another copy of that Top 10 list. I think we can improve on that list, too.

Okay, too many issues for one e-mail. The main point was advertising for the TCVR website, and I got off track. Sorry.

1. Sounds like a good, easy to do thing.

2. Again do able but maybe will not get all dealers to do it.

3. Well said Chris. I would like to keep it that way.

4. I do not think there could be a problem with corporate as we are NOT a club but a loose bunch of guy with no one making a buck on selling shirts with the Victory logo on them. We would each just be making our own shirts and ordering as one to save money. I look at it as free promotion for Victory motorcycles. What good would it do Victory to sue anyone of us? I am just looking at the common sense aspects of it but then lawyers don't have no stink'n common sense so I could be wrong.

5. I personally like the last shirts you did but with the logo above.
