:gunrev: I'm turning in my kyso blue limited edition early next week for new pipes and a stage 1 kit. I have rubbed and scrubbed my big blue baby until it glows like sweat running down some hard dancing strippers belly.the leather bags are shined and protected with mink oil.the oil is changed and all systems are go.so what are we waiting for?:gun:

A hard rain to wash the salt and sand from our roads. Then a little sun to bring the summer riding spirit to our hearts. I'm ready, need a break real bad.

Today
Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday
Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday looks mighty good to me. How about meeting at our new house in Farmington and head south. Looking at the map now.
Head through Northfield, Kenyon, Zumbro Falls then take Hwy 60 down into Wabasha. From there depends on how everybody liked the ride down on Hwy 60. Just might want to go right back up or head over to Wisc side and go up Hwy 35.
Anyone up for this? If so I will write you our address.

Call me for directions.
Time I am open on that but will say 11AM and we can go either way from that if you want. Hoping to get quit a few bike here to impress the neighbors, if you know what I mean. :p
Maybe the north group can meet at Crystal Marine then come down together. This is going to be a test to see if having a ride south will get those Apple Valley, Chaska, and Northfield folks out of the easy chairs and into the saddle.

You guys know I would be there if I had my bike. It should be ready to make an impression by the Flood Run, though.

Sid, Jim & Amy are on their way to Pittsburg(of all places) for the week. I would hook up with you guys at Crystal Marine, but it makes more sense for me to head straight to Bill's.
Inge, you and Terry up for a putt tomorrow? Hey, how about Isaac, he needs some practice on that Heritage;)

What a beautiful day. Forecast changed, now the UPPER 60's and that sun sure is nice. Still have not seen any of the south metro TCVR members posting that they intend to ride. Swiffer, you still going to make it with your hot bike?
We are going out for breakfast but will be back in time to greet you all.
Terri and I, and her son Joe, possibly another buddy of mine plan to be a Sparkey Bill's by 11.

If you are posting you are not on your way here. :(
Hope it is cold and rainy up there so you do not feel so bad about missing the ride in this high 60's and sunny day down a beautiful twisty road. Hwy 60!!!!

11 bikes, not bad for the first SPRING ride. Weather was great and the roads were good except for a little sand on the Welch run late in the day.
Took Hwy 60 down and back up. Now if only we could keep the cars and Harley's out of the way. :)

Bill, next time we'll have to mount rocket-launchers so we can "push" 'em out of the way! Man it was fun today...Hil's real jealous, so we have to do it again soon. We'll get a sitter next time.

Bobbi and I went cruising this weekend too. Talk about nice weather! We had a difficult time coming back to the cities, so we stayed another day at the house.
It's very dry however....we spent the bulk of Sunday afternoon fighting a fire outside of Talmoon. A lumber mill caught fire. 9000 gallons later and the help of a 850 Cat we had it knocked down to a smoldering pile of slabs and mud. Unless we get some moisture ( and hopefully we will at the end of the week) it looks like the fire danger will remain high.
Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend of riding.....I love springtime!

I headed up hwy 3 to Farmington, around 11:30 or so. Just in case you guys took it down towards Nfld. Then figuring you were headed to 60, I thought I'd hightail it down Wabasha via Lake City, and head west on 60. I figured maybe I'd meet you somewhere along the way. No go. Stopped in Zumbro Falls for some grub, and took a long way home.
Next time!
Terri, Joe, Joel, and myself had a great time riding with the group on Sunday. Unfortunately,we had to split off at Nelson, WI and bonsai it home. It was Terri's first time riding with a group and she loved it. Thanks to all for being so friendly to us newcomers. Looking forward to future rides, especially Spirit Lake. Joel and I hope to head south along the Mississippi for a weekend in early April, weather permitting (Terri will be in Hawaii). Crappy weather on the horizon, so I'll get the Vic polished and get back to work on the Norton. I've got a vintage race coming up at Brainerd May 17-18, which means re-gearing the Hewland in the Formula Ford before then. You folks are welcome to come and spectate if you are looking for a destination that weekend. I'll check on the cost, usually $5 or $10, plus signing the waiver.
later,
