What do ya say we get together next Sunday afternoon at the Mermaid. It's basically at the junction of 35W and county road 10 in Moundsview. Sam Hayes(Vikeme) from California will be in town and it would be a good chance to not only meet him, but for some of the rest of us to meet as well(lot's of new folks). Nothing formal set, just wander in if you can make it. I've never been there before, but seems rather large so if a bunch show I don't think it'll be a problem. Hope to see you around 1-2 pm next Sunday March 2nd! If the weather's decent and the roads clear, I think I'll be riding:D

So, how many think they'll show Sunday? It would be nice to have an idea of how many folks will be there.

I'm hoping to make it. Mom's in the hospital again (she is doing alright now) and I am not sure of the schedule. Let's keep it cheap tho. Ol' Thumper is running outa dough...

I'ld like to ride down but the forecast is 10 degrees on Sunday (in Fargo), a little too chilly for a 250 mile ride. Anything below 30, I keep within 50 miles of home. Anything below 20, I don't ride!
Oh...and it's too boring to take the cage that far! :p

It was really good to see all you guys there at the Mermaid! I wished I could have stayed longer but I needed to go tend to Mom in the Hospital.
Doggondest thing - as I was sitting there visiting with her I relaized I had skipped out on my bar-tab for the Coffee!!!
Whoever picked up that tab - lemme know cause I would sure like to make it right!
Sam - I hope you like your Limited Edition Bumper Sticker! :bounce:
Pete - sure was good and un-expected to see you there!
Sam was the only one there with any color in his face.. The rest of us are all Minnesota Fish-belly white!
The warden and I are really looking forward to the Spirit Lake ride! Looks like the Caterpillar run will be on my schedule too!

Yea, it sure was nice Randy. I'm glad we had a good turn out. Sam put the whole tab on his companies card...he wouldn't let us split it up! Sure would've been nice if we could have rode up. Maybe next time.

randy, the bumper sticker was the cream of the crop.now i'm having to hide it.as for the wife thought it was for her. plan on doing a frame, and putting it up on my victory wall. the other thing that was cool was i found you guys had "twin city" pins at the dealers when i road down with lee. got a hand full of those to.
as for catching the tab sunday. i will file it under a buisness meeting.(it was a buisness meeting wasn't it ? ) didn't advertise that though, knowing you boy's we all would have been eating prime rib huh ?
as for color, you should have seen me by the end of the week. my blood just refused to come to the surface to help out in any way. man you guy's can keep that cold stuff. hope warmer day's are just around the corner for you all.
randy, hope your mom is doing better.
we'll get together next time around, you all take care for now.

Randy,
We haven't met yet, but have read many of your posts.
Hope your Mom has a speedy recovery.
Also wished I could have met up with the bunch last Sunday, but we were just coming back to the apartment from up north.
No bites on our Vic yet....Gee...just might mean that I can keep the old girl! I hear that the temps are going to hit near 50 next week....as soon as I can I'm bringing 1061 to the cities.
As a matter of fact I'm about to nix this whole sale deal. It's good faith, but damn it, I'm a Vic rider!
hmmm...guess that kind of said it...didn't it?
How much do I owe the TCVR for doctor of the conkus fees?

Thanks for the well-wishes for my Mom guys..
She is doing better and is in the Fairview rehab center now. They still have not found the cause of the pain, but they have managed to put enough drugs in her that it is no longer paralyzing for her.
Man - with the temps forcast into the 40's and maybe 50's later this week, looks like I will have to polish up ol' BigFoot and go for a ride!!!! :bounce:

Randy -- polish is one thing that won't last long this time of the year, but I agree it is time to get the rags out and start polishing.
