WARNERS! = SERVICE!

Timeline.....Dropped off my Red Vic #720 on Sat. 1-25-03 for the '03 tranny upgrade and the fuel pump recall.

On 1-28-03 at around 2:30 p.m. I get a call from Tom (Head wrench extraordinaire) that the bike is all done and ready for pick up! I say "How can it be done already......it's only Tuesday!"
I'm still in disbelief! I tell Tom I'll be up on Sat. to pick the bike up.

On 2-1-03 I pack the family in the Crew Cab and head north to Warners. Dean & Tom were not there at the time, but Lindsy (sp) and Chad? took care of the details and got me on the road again quick.:D

After Warners we hit the "Big Mall"......that's another story altogether!

When I can, (Later Today?) I'll report on the "new Vic!)

:p

Eric, it's pretty amazing ain't it! When mine got done I dropped it on a saturday for a monday morning start. It was done on wednesday even though Tom and Chad had Polaris school on tuesday! And this included cams and pistons install! Every once in awhile, we have to sit back and realize just how good we have it here in the Twincities:D

The new '03 Tranny is FANTASTIC!

Quiet, tight (no slop at low speeds) and the gears just snicker right in!

The tranny's new design and the gear ratio's, make this bike enjoyable to ride again. I've had this '99 for four years now......and it's definitely staying in the stable now!:bounce:

Eric,

Was the tranny a warranty repair, recall, or did you decide to purchase it? If its the latter, how much did it cost?

Thanks,

Steve

Steve, It was an extended warranty repair. The tranny has been acting up for awhile, doing all kinds of funky things. It's a good thing I checked my warranty papers....the time was almost up!

Cost to me was a $25 deductible. + oil & filter.

The Tranny job is $2600 parts & labor.

John, It was AWS (Automotive Warranty Services, Inc.) bought thru Polaris.

Warners took care of everything.

The warranty is up now on the '99 Vic, but I have 3-yrs. left on my '00 SC.......Piece of Mind!
