First somewhat-annual (maybe) freeze what's left run

Well We ended up with 5 guys for our new year's day ride. The roads were clear and the weather wasn't to bad if you were dressed for it. Thanks to all of the guys that decided to bring in the new year with a brrrrr. Steve, Sid, Jim H., Doug and I had a good day and a good ride. I got home just before 5 with another 225 miles on the odometer.

Sid and I rode down to watch all of the nuts jumping into Lake Minnetonka. It was a better day for a ride that a swim, that's for sure.

Back when I lived in Minnesota and was active in SCUBA diving, we used to bring in the New Year with an annual ice dive in the rock quaries around St. Cloud or at Christmas Lake. I imagine you Twin Cities folks probably see news coverage of that sort of thing?
