I am planning on riding with who ever is brave enough. Lee are you still up for a ride. Flurries could be fun. I plan on wearing something other than black leather however. Hope the old skiing gear fits. I will check the posts in the morning.
Doug I am willing to meet where ever but Lee lives in Elk River so somewhere in this north corner would work if we don't want Lee to get more riding than us guys from the city.
Sparky I hope you are still interested. Jim and Steve are you guys wimping out or are you going to be hanging over to bad to join us.

I'm not gonna make it Sid(smashed my thumb today), but I talked to Jim earlier and he sounded somewhat positive about it. If I feel better in the am maybe I can finish getting my wheels mounted and try to find you guys. Be sure to post approximate where-a-bouts so I'll know what direction to head if I do. Bought a snowmobile suit for riding in the cold and I'm dying to try it out!

I will be there ready to roll or freeze whichever the case may be. Oh I hope the sun is out.

I hope everyone got a chance to put a few miles on today:) ...man it was beautiful! If someone would have told me I'd be riding with just leathers, a knit cap and sunglasses on January 7th. in Minnesota I would've had them committed. If this is the supposed "global warming", bring it on baby!!

Where on earth do I find the maps that show all the county roads and what not. I was trying to scout some roads near Stillwater for future TCVR rides, but it's hard when you're not sure where you're going to end up. I was on one road that was great, next thing I know it turns to gravel.

Getting lost is half of the fun...the other half is getting found.

Your county highway department or the county surveyor

should be able to provide you with some help.

The State Of Minnesota book store on university avenue

may have county maps, I know they sell lake maps.
