The annual "Griswald" display is up.
Anyone in or near Hastings between now and xmas should drive by and see what they look like in person. Near the movie theater on Westview drive. Budget crunch... they are only on between 5pm and 10pm this year.

LOL Yeah, but that doesn't stop the local teens from trying to put them in sexually suggestive positions. Unfortunately someone should teach them the difference between a male and a female. They always seem to get that backwards . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

R U sure this is the house? I thought the house had clear lights and ran them up and down the house. I believe the house is on 6th street correct?

You are correct. I can't recall their names now..... The little lady knows them. We actually stopped over there once when her daughter was friends with their daughters. Hm... been too long and I only met them once or twice. Oh well.
Yeah if you want to set the record straight. That white light house is the real reason the lights in Hastings dim in December. They Griswald it big time. I know how long it takes to set up my place and can't imagine the time he/they must put in.
This house is my attempt at xmas lighting. I get a little brighter every year. This time I stepped it up with more mini-lights. Had several strings donated to me. Still, I can only dim the street light across the street compared to the 6th street place. I do wish that street light would burn out for a month and make my lights look better. LOL
You could always shoot it out . . . :gun:

"You could always shoot it out . . ."
... and then blame it on the deer hunters!

The sad part is I've thought about it. The really sad part is with the rif-raf selling drugs in the lot across the street, I want it on the other 11 months. LOL

I guess we were both wrong(or talking about different houses). It's a multicolored house on 3rd street. I was thinking the whole time I was putting up my lights that their house was white lighted. Oh well.
