I am getting ready to go. Putting on the long johns and stocking cap. Thought we would go from Inkahoots to woodys in Rockford, back around through Hanover to either MaMa Dees or the Ten 50 in Corcoran. Then who knows.

What a great day for riding thanks for the company Lee. Missed all you other Vicksters though. Maybe next year you can all go on the freeze your butt run. Even if we didn't freeze our butts this year.
So where'd you guys end up going and what time did you finish? I had to go get my ears lowered and didn't get out of the chair till about noon. Then I stopped at the bank, and headed out 30 to Mama D's. From there I kinda back-tracked your proposed route thinking I might still be able to run into you. No sign of the bikes outside the 10-50 or Woody's. I took 50 to Rockford so you guys probably took 10 just to avoid me. It was a fine day for a ride any way, so I just kept going. Stopped by to see the wife at work, at Alaskan Fur and she threw on something furry and I took her for a little ride. Then stopped at Best Buy, ran in and did a little Xmas shopping (so as to prove I wasn't just ridin' around aimlessly) and made it home just as the sun set. What a great day for a ride. The last day I rode last year was December 18th, but that was after a snow, so it was wet and sloppy and had to wash the bike after that one. At least today when I got home I just kicked back. If we can't get out for another ride this year, maybe we can hook up for the bike show in January. Go in wearin' the colors and such. Keep in touch.

We didn't end up doing much of the route that Sid posted. We went down and went around Lake Minnetonka for a while then headed west out 7 and up 25. We stopped at my place for a minute and then at my dad's so Sid could see the progress that my dad has made on his "trailor queen". I ended up with about 125 miles. Beautiful day for a ride. I bought some new snowmobile gear about 2 weeks ago and decided to give them a try. I never got chilled even a little.

Hey guys, thanks for thinking of me yesterday, really wanted to join you, cept didn't have wheels right now and the alien bug found its way into my body, a ride probably would have gotten rid of it! Oh well there's always next time. If I don't see ya before xmas, wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Great New Year! Jim
