Hi everyone.
Been hanging out up north quite a bit....even rode the Vic on Friday...it's really cool (literally) to ride when it's snowing. Everyone in town thought I was bonkers, but then again I have a reputation to keep up. (no comment on that, Sparky!)
I contacted Keith at Magnum about the fuel pump recall. I'll schedule for springtime (unless we get 4 hours of clear roads and above freezing temps!)
I talked about intake noise a while back. I asked Keith about the possibility of installing a newer airbox on the '99. It seems that you have to drop the motor in order to change out the housing. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Victory Christmas Wish Lists? I would like Rifle lowers and the studded saddlebags that come with the Deluxe! I asked Scott at Magnum how much the Deluxe bags go for...can you believe that the book lists them at $450----per side?! Youch! Anyone have a used pair that they would like Santa to bring me?
Anyone else have requests for Santa?
Got to head north again this week. A good friend ( and my baptism sponsor) passed away on friday. He was a widower, like my dad, and they were lunch partners. Hard to see these guys slowly departing from the community. I guess that's life ( or death) though.
