Recall Notice

Just received a recall notice in the mail today for the fuel pump to be replaced. Anyone else get one? Apparently applies to the '99-01 V92C Standard Cruiser, '00 V92C Special Edition, '00-01 V92SC Sport Cruiser, and the '01 V92DC Deluxe Cruiser. They're going to install a "Re-designed fuel pump and fuel system filter screens and hoses". Maybe this will take care of some of the horror stories I've read here in the past.

I got my new pump last week and my recall last night. Suppose to be a saftey issue and they do not want you to decline. I was happy with my old pump. It was stong as a horse. Could implode tanks and ran out of gas 2 times ( key here is to turn off the bike and DO NOT try to restart till the tank is full). Just hope this new one can take the beating and keep on pump'in.

I got mine in the mail Wednesday. I don't have to worry about it, since I traded it in on my TC.

Me too Pat. Hope the guy that got my 99 gets the word about the update. Bet he doesn't.
