Gimpy

Greetings Vic riders! Introducing myself as a new Vic rider (well, next spring as the '03 TC comes in). My name is Jerry and live in Northfield (as does Batman(A.K.A. the TC Stealer :D )). The reason for "Gimpy" is a long boring story but deals with 2 surgeries on the right knee. Looking forward to this spring so as to ride with this fun sounding group!
B.T.W. Batman, Mine is prettier :p

Welcome Gimpy! Good thing you already have a handle or these guys will pick one for ya:) ...don't know how they came up with "Swiffer" for me, but it stuck. Look forward to riding with you in the spring. Did you order your's from Warners by any chance?

Welcome! The hard part now that you made the purchase is waiting for it to come! Congradulations, you purchased the best cruiser on the market, backed by a great company with excellent dealers who work hard to earn your business. We are lucky to have some of the finest dealers in the motorcycle business.

Yo Gimpy! Good to have you on board finally! You just waited too long to pick up that red and silver one. I couldn't stand it just sitting there not being ridden, so being the Victory lover that I am, bought it!
(something like, you snooze, you lose)
You'll love the TC! Look forword to riding with you!

If you really don't know, we can expain it to ya.
Welcome Gimpy. Glad to have you aboard. I am going to take this chance to address a lot of the new members that have not posted. Many of you have hung back just reading the messages and maybe feeling you were not part of the "IN" crowd. Well there is no "IN" crowd here. What we have here is active and inactive members. All it takes is for you to post, speak up and like Gimpy, you will be immediately welcomed. Post a little introduction, or just ask a question or give a suggestion, but just let us know who you are and join on a ride.

Yes Swiffer Warners is the "OB-GYN" for our new baby. I spent a LOT of time lookng at other brands and just couldn't find anything that was better in my mind, including dealers. And yes, the hard part is waiting till spring :( Oh well, at least mine will be prettier than Pat's.
Yes, I snoozed and I loozed.

It was not me on the flood run Batmen, Herself had me running errands. However, I was able to stop at Warners and
order some stuff. I was able to get a few more miles on the
bike.

Heard that the new tranny were starting to arrive BUT what is this about a fairing. RedVic802 will be very interested in this.

I just noticed that I missed Swiffer's question about this as well, so for now all I'm going to say is that I'll be getting the "Rocketman" fairing, which I think originally is a H-D piece, and it will be coming soon. The place e-mailed today and said that things were already just about finished!
This is SORT OF how it will look...
