How far South do you plan on getting? Is Spring Green going to be the southern-most point?

I am thinking of getting an early start saturday morning, can make it a one day ride, in which case Spring Green would not be close enough, or a two day ride, staying over in the spring green area- dodgeville, monrone are two other places to stay. depends on who wants to ride with and their schedules.
Steve, i came out ok on all the rain we got here, thankfully my house is on a hill, sump pump still got lots of action as the ground is really saturated. For the second time this year the Dodge/chrysler dealership was flooded, this time they managed to remove most of the new cars before they were submerged in water. Can't ever remember a summer like this one for the rain and the violence of the storms.

Just checked the weather, sounds like it may be wet in the morning, if it is, I don't plan on leaving here til it appears to have stopped raining. According to the forecast its suppose to stop sometime tomorrow morning, hopefully before i get up. I will check here tomorrow morning at 7:30 am to see if anyone wants to join us, we can always pick a place to meet. Jim

I am planning to ride along for awhile. Don't want to stay overnight but can make a good day of it. I am not going in the rain but want to go when it stops. I will check here for further instructions.

Morning !
For weather radar/forcasts, I use this at work. Accurate, and can see quite a bid.
Have fun on ride!

Thanks Gimpy, useful info on that site. Sid, I'm thinking of taking of between 8:30 and 9 am, according to the forcast things should be clearing up by then. It looks like the weather is moving the way I want to ride, so my thinking is taking of a little later will keep us behind the front moving east. We could meet at the junction of 494 & 55, west and south side, there are some food places there. Let me know if that sounds ok. Jim

Great ride Saturday! If you are a duck. Boy did we get wet.
We rode down 55 to Hastings then down to Welch Village and took 7 down to Zumbrota where we picked up the infamous 60. By the time we got to Welch we had to stop for about a half hour and let the light? rain pass. Soaked to the gills. I want everyone to know the only guy to wear his rain suit on the first catapilar run forgot his rain jacket on Saturday. Jim and Phylis got very wet.
We ate at the Anderson House in Wabasha had excelent soup and good Turkey ala king. The pie was pretty good also. Thanks Jim for inviting me along. This looks like a good Fall run for colors.

Thanks Sid for joining us last Saturday, despite the rain we had a good time. We were dry by the time we got home, but it was cool coming in as we didn't leave the relatives place before dark. Good report on the ride, I agree it would be a good fall color ride. Also thanks again for treating us to the pie, think I owe you next time-I will trust your instincts for good places to eat from now on, you sure picked a good one this time! Jim
