Can ya define a couple of weeks a little better? I have to drive my old folks to AZ starting on the 20th of Sept, and will be gone for about a week. Unsure if I can ride it.

Well, we never did really catch up to you guys...but it was sure good seeing you when we did in Maiden Rock! Searched and searched for the Vegas there, but he must've moved on as well:( . Jim and I sure had a fantastic time though...best part was chasing a group of crotch rockets down highway 60! We did pretty good too, in fact there was a few times I think we could've passed the guy at the end of the pack, but didn't want to pressure him too much:rolleyes: . We didn't see very many Vics today, there seemed to be more during the spring run for some reason or another. All in all it sure seemed like a good turn-out though. Each stop was pretty crowded with leather, chrome and loud pipes! Watched a couple guys on Roadkings get hassled by the Polizi in Nelson for doing burn-outs, but that was about all the extra entertainment we saw. Hope you all made it home safe!

I got a late start, didn't get to Prescott until around noon. I only saw one other Victory besides myself and Mark. Had to leave after Nelson, running late for a diner date. Ran out of gas on the way home, trying to save some time by not stopping for fuel. DAMN! Was only about 3 miles from home too!! (I guess better 3 then 30!) Nice day, too bad the sun wouldn't stay out. Great ride though, probably the 7th or 8th time I've done it this year.

Hey Pat,
Don't forget that the TC has about 1/2 gallon less of fuel capacity because the fuel pump is now inside the tank!

Here's a few shots of the run. I didn't take any specific shots of people or bikes...just all the bikes in general. As you can see there was quite a turn-out!

Wasn't just that Chris, I knew it held a bit less fuel. I was going by my low warning light. Drops down to .9 left before the light comes on. Then I assumed I HAD .8 at least to go. NOPE, don't think so.
Seems every bike is different. The worst part was, I had company waiting at the house with JoAnne, we had dinner plans. I had to call her, have her run down to the gas station since I had NO gas at home, and come fuel me up while the other couple went to the resturant to wait.
Oh well, glad it happened where I was instead of further down the road!
