Well the long awaited results are IN. :bounce:
Some of you may not know that I have been working on the programming of the chips in the 99-01 Victory.
About a month ago I shipped off a couple of my BigFoot chips to the Supreme Victologist hisself - Lloyd Greer..
The BFS1 (Short for BigFoot Stage-1) outperformed the other guy's chips by 2 horsepower on the Dyno. Plus - according to Lloyd, the BFS1 was "Smoother" in the middle (which is were the majority of the fuel curve work was done).
Lloyd will be sending me the Dyno Sheets when he gets a chance to get them off his Dyno Computer.
There are a number of you that have sent me emails asking to be put on the list to purchase the BFS1 and if you have kept up with my status reports you know that there is a shortage of this spec EPROM out there.
Good news: I received a small shipment of the chips and can start programming and shipping on a first come first served basis (those who have already email me are on the list).
If anyone wants to donate or sell their stock chips and/or carriers (plastic boxes), please let me know ASAP.
Also - remember that there is a $5 discount on a BigFoot S1 or S1B if you send in your old chip with payment.
VMC members, TCVR members and victory-motorcycle.com supporters will get Qty-1 Dealer pricing of $65 per chip. Suggested Retail Price is $80.
I will cover the cost of USPS shipping.
BFS1: Cheaper - Faster - Better.
BigFoot Stage-1B - Super Chip.
While the BFS1 has a richer mid-range fuel mixture and improved off-throttle fuel control (less exhaust popping on decel), the BigFoot Stage-1B
(BFS1B) is richer across the board and will be tested soon on a 100+ CI bike with cams and high compression pistons.
I won't sell the BFS1B without a full disclaimer in terms of it's
suitability or potential power increase until the test results are in.
In other words, if you want the BFS1B - you have to understand that while this chip has gone through some preliminary tests, it is not fully proven as the BFS1. I will tell you that it is too rich to function properly on a standard compression bike with taper tips (my bike).
Remember folks - these chips are for OFF-Road use only!

In order to get the reduced price you must be a member of the TCVR, VMC or a $upporter of victory-motorcycle.com. If not, you can purchase your chip at Warner Outdoor in Bloomington MN where they can install it and tune your bike to a razor's edge..
