Easy to register and log in; and I like the f.a.q. and calendar features. National and regional boards have their place, but for locals looking for a ride it's great to be able to access event information easily and quickly. Again, really like the calendar. Great snapshot view of what is happening during the month.

I'm amazed how quickly you guys addressed the need for this board (Steve? Don? Sparky? All of you)? It looks great (very clean format), and I haven't even browsed anywhere yet.

My one concern is about those people choosing to have different ID's at each site...make a point to identify yourself if you've changed your "handle."

Again, great site, excellent for the TCVR. Let's put it as a link on the web in Yahoo! and other search engines.

Thanks to all that made this happen. Eventhough it's different (change is hard to accept at times) this site is really great. I am sorry I can not attend the Birthday Bash, as I have a wedding in Wisconsin that weekend. Is anybody thinking of going to Sturgis, Humbolt or any ather rallies?

The last year for "Humbolt" was last year. :) The good news is the rally will bigger and better on our own land just outside of Algona. It is called the Freedom Rally and the post is in the calendar above on July 4th 5th and 6th. Heidi and I will be going. Blaze does not like that rally as he has been banned.

John, maybe you can make the 2nd. annual "caterpillar run" the beginning of June? It's a great ride and a good time.

I have a good friend getting married the 15th of June, and a stag party to be planned some time before that. In all, I have 13 weddings this year, up one from the record of 12 last year. I will have to wait and see what comes down the pike.
I am waiting to get #434 out. The tank got scuffed at the dealer last year and they are re-clearing it. I am also putting in a K&N filter, gutting the air box, new polished stainless pipes that I had made and a TPS check. The pipes should really make some music, so if you see an Anteres (is there any other color?) scooter wit a plenty goog looking man on it...it's just me....

Those weddings sure cut up the riding. Really does when one is your own. Divorces are worse though. :gun:

What do you mean by gutting the air box?

Red by any other name then KYSO Blue is S L O W...... BTW I have never seen a "goog" looking man, can you post a picture here for me.

damn...need...spell check. In the 99's I heard that you can remove the top and bottom of the airbox to make it breath easier. Although, I have never had my tank off to see the airbox as a whole. The tank will be removed by the time I get to dealer tomorrow. If that is not possible, I am going to drill big holes in it so #434 can get more, much needed air.
HAve you guys had any problems with your shift linkages getting loose? All of the parts in mine are (good thing for extened warranties) I also had some prolems with false neutrals and slipping out of gears. Hopefully the guts will keep the power to the wheel until fall.
Have a good weekend. :bounce:gun:

Hey Tom, where ya been hiding all winter? Good to see you posting again.

John, I think it makes a big difference removing the whole air box...made mine run better!

Bill, boy don't I know about those divorces:( , 2 was enough for me. I think Hil plans on keeping me for awhile(fingers crossed)

John, you talking about the external sifting parts? Thje false neutrals and slipping out of gears sounds like the tranny.

Steve I was divorced once 20 years ago. I learned THEN what the leading cause of divorce was in this nation of ours. It's marriage! If'n ya don't get married ya can't get divorced, so I stayed away from the institution of marriage for 20 years. (Cher said "who wants to live in an institution anyway?")

The woman I lived with for 13 years died and I met Heidi and I weaken.:p

She told me she wasn't going anywhere. She was married for 31 years to a fellow she was friends since she was but a wee child. She lost him to cancer.

I do not wish a divorce on my worst enemy, but for my ex, may a 1000 divorces rain upon her. :gun:

I like this new place. Its clean, easy to use (once you find your way around) and the little icon guys are fun. Thanx for the efforts guys!

I've got a couple weeks work left on the basement and then the Vic gets lots of TLC. Gitten itchy.

Do we have a weekend for the Catepillar Yet (as well as for Steve Stoddard's Mississippi Ride? Perhaps this post should be a new topic area, but it wouldn't hurt to being solidifying dates now.

Well I've finally made it to the new site and I likes what I see's:bounce:. Too bad I didn't figure it out in time to join you all for the ride last Saturday. I'm hoping there'll be many more Saturday's to choose from. Can't wait to see the new toys everyone added over the 2-wheel unfriendly season. I'm afraid my toy fund went into the 5 year extended warranty. The most expensive toy you hope you never use. Again great job on the new site and looking forward to a long, Yahoo free, run.
