Someone in the Victory community has their Email client infected with the Klez virus, which sends out Emails to having to- and from- addresses chosen from those that are stored in their address list. If you receive a Klez Email it can appear to come from someone other than the "real" sender, and it can be infected with the virus and thus spread it to your system. It can affect most Windows systems, but not UNIX or Linux systems. I've been receiving them, but I use Linux so I'm not infected.

If you do Email in Windows you may want to update your virus detection software, or install some.

I got that about 2 weeks ago! Luckily my Norton Anti-virus caught it right away. I was a virus "virgin" up 'till then too:mad:

If I receive this, it has to have an attachment correct? If I do not open the attachment and delete it no problem. I do not open .bat .exe and some others that can execute.

I don't know if the virus requires an attachment to spread or not. I've been receiving several each day and none have had an attachment. Do a google search for "klez virus" (in quotes) and you'll find lots of info sources.
